"Eyes Like a Demon" was one of the winners of the California Young Playwrights Competition 2017 and subsequently produced professionally at the Old Globe Theatre in San Diego's Balboa Park.It was chosen over 432 other submitted plays, directed by Ruff Yeager, and involved an intensive script revision process wherein the title was changed to "Sina and the Eel".“Sina and the Eel” received extremely positive reviews from the San Diego Tribune and Broadway World. After the performance in Balboa, “Sina and the Eel” was performed again by Brand New Theatre Company.
